Four Day First aid at Work (Statutory Certificate)
Comprehensive four-day HSE certificated course for employees designated as workplace First Aiders. Covers all essential areas of Life Support and First Aid necessary in the initial overall management of casualties and pre-hospital care situations

First Aid at Work Refresher (Statutory Certificate)
Two-day re-qualification course for workplace First Aiders. Reviews and updates original course
Material on advances in techniques and changes in legislation.

Emergency First Aid (Appointed Persons Course)
One-day Basic Life Support Training course for employees designated as "Appointed Persons". Concentrates on resuscitation skills and techniques to stabilise a casualty prior to the arrival of medial aid.

Paediatric (Child) Life Support Training
A one-day course for anyone who is caring for a child. Child carers, mothers, fathers and other family members.

Emergency Blood and Breathing Course
Designed for all staff who have an interest in Basic Life Support

Automatic Electronic Defibrillation Training
A one-day course in the use of Automatic Electronic Defibrillators.

Specific Hazard Training
A course individually designed to focus on specific hazards in the workplace, such as cyanide.

Oxygen Administration
One-day certificated course for First Aiders who may be required to use oxygen resuscitation equipment in dealing with a casualty incident. Includes airway management, resuscitation and the theory and use of oxygen

Bombs, Ballistics and Triage
A three hour course for those who may have the misfortune of dealing with blast and ballistic injuries in today’s world of terrorism. Ideally for those who have already received some tuition on First Aid

 

SPECIALISED FIRST AID AND MEDICAL COURSES.
The Lone Workers Course
This course is designed for those lone workers who may be at risk of violence or attack whilst going about their day to day employment.

Trauma Management Remote Areas
Casualty stabilisation and evacuation course for operatives working in hostile or remote environments (e.g. security personnel, war zone news gatherers). Emphasises personal safety measures, self-help and the management of casualties with severe trauma such as ballistic or blast injury.

Life Support for those at Sea
A hands on First aid and Life Support course for those who enjoy sailing. This course is practical and based at sea. Great fun and realistic scenarios.

Expedition Medicine
This course is designed for groups working overseas, who may encounter anything from road traffic accidents to altitude sickness, hypothermia to envenomation. This course is designed around the client’s risk assessment.

Production Team Training
A two day course run in conjunction with our Media Safety Specialists prior to deployment of news of film crews to anywhere in the world.

Rescue Team Training
Team training course for First Aiders working in potentially hazardous areas such as construction and tunnelling sites. Includes emergency life support techniques utilising available resources and rescue equipment.

Hyperbaric Medicine
These courses are designed for use in compressed air tunnelling and the diving industry.

Diving (Hyperbaric) First Aid Training
A course for commercial air/gas divers and sports divers. Relates to practical Life Support skills to incidents at the dive site and includes essential instruction in relevant diving medicine.

This course is designed to give an understanding of the Noise at Work Regulations and their practical implications.

FIRE SAFETY

This course is aimed to provide companies with an explanation why safety needs a systematic and effective

This is a one day course designed for persons who may be required to work at heights.

RISK ASSESSMENT
This course is aimed to provide delegates with an appreciation of the legal requirements for risk assessment and to show delegates that risk assessment is not a document but a way of working.

MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH AND SAFETY
This practical programme is designed to provide managers and those with leadership responsibilities with the knowledge
and skills to integrate effective health and safety management and loss control practices into their leadership role.

SCAFFOLDING
Courses in scaffold Awareness and Inspection. Courses will be designed around you schedules and requirements.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
The course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, helping the individual to understand potential hazards they may face on site.

PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING
The course aims to introduce candidates with the knowledge to carry out testing of portable electrical appliances
within their workplace.

ASBESTOS AWARENESS AND MANAGEMENT

The one-day course is intended to ensure that duty holders are able to comply with the full range of responsibilities detailed in the regulations in a practical and cost effective manner.

DISPLAY SCREEN EQUIPMENT
This course is aimed to provide companies with effective risk assessors to cover the requirements of the Display Screen Equipment Regulations.

ACCIDENT REPORTING/INVESTIGATING
This course will help clients to carry out accident investigation, identify root and multiple causes, and be able to make recommendations to prevent recurrence. You will also cover the legal reporting requirements under RIDDOR 1995.

WORKING SAFELY
Working Safely introduces a completely new approach to health and safety training and offers all the basics in a high impact package.

The course covers current legislation, hazard identification, safe working practices, equipment selection and practical confined space entry.

Confined Space Entry 2 Day
The comprehensive course covers current legislation, hazard identification, safe working practices, equipment selection and practical confined space entry. The course is designed to meet the requirements of many water company’s who currently do not require City & Guilds standards.

MANUAL HANDLING COURSES.
Manual Handling
A one-day course in line with current legislation, concentrating on the assessment and safe execution of manual handling tasks. Courses are designed to the customer’s requirements and are ideally conducted on site.

Manual Handling Assessors Course
The course is intended for staff that has been nominated as manual handling assessors for their department and therefore are required to undertake manual handling assessments, as well as managers responsible for areas where manual handling operations take place.
